Veterinary Physiotherapy
This document sets out the terms upon which I carry out veterinary physiotherapy work for my clients. This is an important document. Please keep it in a safe place for future reference.
These terms and conditions apply not only to current work but also to all future work unless I write to you amending the terms. In this document and in any correspondence with you, “I” and “Me” means Danielle Barber and “You” means the person who is my client or, if more than one person, those persons who together are my client. Where I act for two or more clients jointly it is on the understanding that I am authorised to act on instructions of either, both or any of them.
Better Pet Veterinary Physiotherapy is dedicated to providing gold-standard treatments and the welfare of the patient will always be prioritised.
As per The Veterinary Surgeons Act 1996, veterinary consent is mandatory before all initial consultations. Better Pet Veterinary Physiotherapy reserves the right to decline treatment if sufficient veterinary consent cannot be provided. Should I identify on assessment or be notified of a change to your animal’s clinical condition, I reserve the right to refuse treatment until I have gained further consent from your veterinary surgeon to ensure veterinary physiotherapy is still suitable for your animal. Better Pet Veterinary Physiotherapy works to withhold appropriate standards of communication with your veterinary surgeon, as such veterinary physiotherapy reports will be shared with your veterinary surgeon when it is appropriate to do so.
Clients located within 20 miles of DE5 9TL will not incur a travel charge. Depending on caseload I may take on clients outside of this range. Better Pet Veterinary Physiotherapy will always aim to fully inform clients on any excess travel costs prior to visiting, the current rate charged is 80p per additional mile. Upon booking, clients are requested to state which “Zone” the consultation will be taking place in. This is so that I can allocate enough time between appointments for necessary travel time. “Zones” are not indicative of charges associated with appointments. However, failure to select the correct zone may result in cancellation of your appointment, should it affect another client’s allocated time slot.
Up to date consultation prices can be found on my website and on social media. Better Pet Veterinary Physiotherapy reserves the right to adjust consultation prices when it is appropriate to do so. Sufficient notice will be given when price adjustments are implemented. Payment is required upon booking, unless agreed directly with Danielle Barber. Payment can be made by PayPal, BACS and cash. I reserve the right to pursue any unpaid accounts in any manner I deem appropriate. This may include the use of a debt collection service or civil proceedings. Any costs incurred by us in recovering unpaid accounts will be passed onto the respective client. For failure to comply with our payment terms I reserve the right to withdraw my services and will give notice of this in writing.
Any offers discussed on the website, social media, or other associated pages of Better Pet Veterinary Physiotherapy must be discussed at the time of booking the appointment and can be withdrawn at any point by Better Pet Veterinary Physiotherapy. Military and service animal discounts are available for working and retired service animals (evidence must be provided). Please contact me prior to arranging an appointment to ensure discounts can be applied.
Appointments cancelled within 48 hours will be subject to a late cancellation fee of 50% of the consultation cost. If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please contact me immediately on contact@betterpet.uk. Cancellation fees may be waived if under extenuating circumstances.
My aim is to provide a first-class service. However, should you wish to discuss any problems you may have with my services I ask you, in the first instance, to address such issues to Danielle Barber.
YOU MUST CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT IF YOUR ANIMAL IS SUFFERING FROM A CONTAGIOUS DISEASE.
